How to Make a Panel Saw (From a Kit)

I’m still benched from the shop, suffering and recovering from vestibular neuritis (originally thought to be BPPV, but that thought has changed now). I’m not really sure when I’ll be able to return to woodworking. At this point I’d be happy to return to walking normally and not feeling like I’m stumbling drunk 24 hours a day.

Since I was working on the Hand Saw Foundations course before I was suddenly and violently sidelined, I thought it might be fun to re-visit a video I made in 2010 on building a panel saw from a kit. While the company that I got my kit from is no longer in business, you can still get similar kits from the likes of Blackburn Tools, whom I have happily bought from on numerous occasions.
